Surah Yasin Rumi
سورة يس

Read the heart of the Quran in Arabic with Rumi transliteration. Surah Yasin is the 36th chapter of the Holy Quran and is often called the heart of the Quran due to its spiritual significance. Arabic
يٰسٓ
Rumi Transliteration
Ya-Sin
Ya-Sin.
2
Arabic
وَالْقُرْآنِ الْحَكِيمِ
Rumi Transliteration
Wal-qur’āni l-ḥakīm
By the wise Qur’an.
3
Arabic
إِنَّكَ لَمِنَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ
Rumi Transliteration
Innaka lamina l-mursalīn
Indeed you, [O Muhammad], are from among the messengers.
4
Arabic
عَلَى صِرَاطٍ مُسْتَقِيمٍ
Rumi Transliteration
ʿalā ṣirāṭin mustaqīm
On a straight path.
5
Arabic
تَنْزِيلَ الْعَزِيزِ الرَّحِيمِ
Rumi Transliteration
Tanzīla l-ʿazīzi r-raḥīm
[This is] a revelation of the Exalted in Might, the Merciful,

Arabic
لِتُنذِرَ قَوْمًا مَّا أُنذِرَ آبَاؤُهُمْ فَهُمْ غَافِلُونَ
Rumi Transliteration
Li-tunẓira qawman mā unẓira ābāuhum fahum ghāfilūn
That you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are unaware.

Arabic
لَقَدْ حَقَّ الْقَوْلُ عَلَى أَكْثَرِهِمْ فَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ
Rumi Transliteration
Laqad ḥaqqa l-qawlu ʿalā aktharihim fahum lā yu’minūn
The word has come into effect upon most of them, so they do not believe.

Arabic
إِنَّا جَعَلْنَا فِي أَعْنَاقِهِمْ أَغْلَالًا فَهِيَ إِلَى الْأَذْقَانِ فَهُم مُّقْمَحُونَ
Rumi Transliteration
Innā jaʿalnā fī aʿnāqihim aġlālan fahiyā ilā l-adhqāni fahum muqmaḥūn
Indeed, We have put shackles on their necks, and they are to their chins, so they are with heads kept upright.

Arabic
وَجَعَلْنَا مِن بَيْنِ أَيْدِيهِم سَدًّا وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِم سَدًّا فَأَغْشَيْنَاهُمْ فَهُمْ لَا يُبْصِرُونَ
Rumi Transliteration
Wa jaʿalnā min bayni aydīhim saddan wa min khalfihim saddan fa-aghšaynāhum fahum lā yubṣirūn
And We have put before them a barrier and behind them a barrier and covered them, so they do not see.

Arabic
وَسَوَاءٌ عَلَيْهِمْ أَأَنذَرْتَهُمْ أَمْ لَم تُنذِرْهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ
Rumi Transliteration
Wa sawā’un ʿalayhim a-anẓartahum am lam tunẓirhum lā yu’minūn
It is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them—they will not believe.

Arabic
إِنَّمَا تُنذِرُ مَنِ اتَّبَعَ الذِّكْرَ وَخَشِيَ الرَّحْمَنَ بِالْغَيْبِ ۖ فَبَشِّرْهُ بِمَغْفِرَةٍ وَأَجْرٍ كَبِيرٍ
Rumi Transliteration
Innamā tunẓiru man ittabaʿa l-dhikr wa khašiya r-raḥmānabil-ghayb fa-bashshirhu bimaġfiratin wa ajrin kabīr
You can only warn one who follows the message and fears the Most Merciful unseen. So give him good tidings of forgiveness and a noble reward.

Arabic
إِنَّا نَحْنُ نُحْيِي الْمَوْتَىٰ وَنَكْتُبُ مَا قَدَّمُوا۟ وَآثَـٰرَهُمْ ۚ وَكُلَّ شَيْءٍ أَحْصَيْنَـٰهُ فِي إِمَامٍ مُّبِينٍ
Rumi Transliteration
Innā naḥnu nuḥyi l-mawtā wa naktubu mā qaddamū wa āthārahum wa kulla shay’in aḥṣaynāhu fī imāmin mubīn
Indeed, it is We who bring the dead to life and record what they have put forth and what they left behind, and all things We have enumerated in a clear register.

Arabic
وَنَضَعُ الْمَوَازِينَ الْقِسْطَ لِيَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ فَلَا تُظْلَمُ نَفْسٌ شَيْئًا ۖ وَإِن كَانَ مِثْقَالَ حَبَّةٍ مِّنْ خَرْدَلٍ أَتَيْنَا بِهَا ۖ وَكَفَىٰ بِنَا حَاسِبِينَ
Rumi Transliteration
Wa naḍaʿu l-mawāzīna l-qisṭa liyawmi l-qiyāma fa-lā tuẓlamu nafsun shay’an wa in kāna mithqāla ḥabbatin min khardalin ataynā bihā wa kafā binā ḥāsibīn
And We place the scales of justice for the Day of Resurrection, so no soul will be treated unjustly at all. And if there is [even] the weight of a mustard seed, We will bring it forth. And sufficient are We as accountant.

Arabic
إِنَّ السَّابِقُونَ الْأَوَّلِينَ
Rumi Transliteration
Inna l-sābiqūna l-awwalīn
Indeed, the forerunners,
15
Arabic
أُولَـٰئِكَ الْمُقَرَّبُونَ
Rumi Transliteration
Ulā’ika l-muqarrabūn
The most excellent,
16
Arabic
فِي جَنَّاتِ النَّعِيمِ
Rumi Transliteration
Fī jannāti l-na’īm
[Who are] those nearest to Allah
17
Arabic
عَلَىٰ سُرُرٍ مُّتَقَـٰبِلِينَ
Rumi Transliteration
ʿalā sururin mutaqābilīn
[Who are] in gardens of pleasure,
18
Arabic
مُّتَّكِئِينَ عَلَىٰ سُرُرٍ مَّصْفُوفَةٍ
Rumi Transliteration
Muttaki’īna ʿalā sururin maṣfūfa
Facing each other.
19
Arabic
يَطُوفُ عَلَيْهِمْ وِلْدَانٌ مُخَلَّدُونَ
Rumi Transliteration
Yaṭūfu ʿalayhim wildānun mukhalladūn
There will be circulated among them young boys made eternal
20
Arabic
بِأَكْوَابٍ وَأَبَارِيقَ وَكَأْسٍ مِّن مَّعِينٍ
Rumi Transliteration
Bi akwābin wa abāriqa wa ka’sin min maʿīn
With cups, and pitchers, and a cup [of wine] from a flowing spring –

Arabic
لا يَسْمَعُونَ فِيهَا لَغْوًا وَلَا تَأْثِيمًا
Rumi Transliteration
Lā yasmaʿūna fīhā laghwan wa lā ta’thīman
They will not hear therein ill speech or commission of sin –
22
Arabic
إِلَّا قِيلًا سَلَامًا سَلَامًا
Rumi Transliteration
Illā qīlan salāman salām
Only a saying: “Peace, peace.”
23
Arabic
وَأَصْحَـٰبُ الْيَمِينِ مَا أَصْحَـٰبُ الْيَمِينِ
Rumi Transliteration
Wa aṣḥābu l-yamīn mā aṣḥābu l-yamīn
And the companions of the right – what are the companions of the right?
24
Arabic
فِي سِدْرٍ مَّخْضُودٍ
Rumi Transliteration
Fī sidrin makhḍūd
[They will be] among lote trees with thorns removed
25
Arabic
وَطَلْحٍ مَّنبَثٍّ
Rumi Transliteration
Wa ṭalḥin manbaṯṯ
And among extended shade
26
Arabic
وَنَخِيلٍ طَلْعُهَا نَضِيدٌ
Rumi Transliteration
Wa nakhīlin ṭalʿuhā naḍīd
And [banana] trees layered [with fruit]
27
Arabic
وَحُโُّوطٍ مُّّسَّدَّدَةٍ
Rumi Transliteration
Wa ḥuṭṭin mussaddada
And fruit of them, made low as well as high.
28
Arabic
فَأَصْحَابُ الْمَيْمَنَةِ مَا أَصْحَابُ الْمَيْمَنَةِ
Rumi Transliteration
Fa aṣḥābu l-maymanah mā aṣḥābu l-maymanah
Indeed, the companions of the right – what are the companions of the right?
29
Arabic
وَأَصْحَـٰبُ الشِّمَالِ مَا أَصْحَـٰبُ الشِّمَالِ
Rumi Transliteration
Wa aṣḥābu l-shimāl mā aṣḥābu l-shimāl
And the companions of the left – what are the companions of the left?
30
Arabic
فِي سَمُومٍ وَحَمِيمٍ
Rumi Transliteration
Fī samūmin wa ḥamīm
In scorching wind and scalding water
31
Arabic
وَأَنَّ لَهُ الْأَصْحَابَ يَوْمَئِذٍ مُّحِيطُونَ
Rumi Transliteration
Wa anna lahu l-aṣḥāba yawma’idhin muḥīṭūn
And that for him will be companions [to cause him] to enter Paradise?
32
Arabic
وَأَنَّ هُمْ أَضْغَاءُ وَأَبْكَمُ وَعُمْيٌ فَهُمْ لَا يَرْجِعُونَ
Rumi Transliteration
Wa anna hum aḍghā’u wa abkamu wa ʿumyun fahum lā yarjiʿūn
And that they are the ones brought near [to Allah ]?
33
Arabic
أَلَمْ نَجْعَل لَّهُ عَيْنَيْنِ
Rumi Transliteration
Alam najʿal lahu ʿaynayni
Did We not make for him two eyes?
34
Arabic
وَجَعَلْنَا لَهُ سَمْعًا وَبَصَرًا
Rumi Transliteration
Wa jaʿalnā lahu samʿan wa baṣarā
And made for him hearing and vision?
35
Arabic
وَإِنَّ يَهْدِيهِ لَأَسْهَمُ الْهُدَىٰ
Rumi Transliteration
Wa inna yahdīhi la-ashamu l-hudā
And that it is He who enables you to hear and see?
36
Arabic
وَأَنَّ سَعْيَهُ لَشَتَّىٰ
Rumi Transliteration
Wa anna saʿyahu la-shattā
But indeed, to the righteous is attainment—
37
Arabic
أَنَّ لَهُ ثَوَابًا وَأَنَّ سَعْيَهُ سَوْفَ يُرَىٰ
Rumi Transliteration
Anna lahu thawāban wa anna saʿyahu sawfa yurā
And that to your Lord is the finality?
38
Arabic
ثُمَّ أَنَّكُم مِّن بَعْدِ ذَٰلِكَ لَمَيِّتُونَ
Rumi Transliteration
Thumma annakum min baʿdi dhālika lamayyitūn
Then indeed you, after that, are to die.
39
Arabic
ثُمَّ إِنَّكُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ تُبْعَثُونَ
Rumi Transliteration
Thumma innakum yawma l-qiyāmati tubʿathūn
Then indeed you, on the Day of Resurrection, will be resurrected.
40
Arabic
وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا مَا بَيْنَكُمْ مِن شَيْءٍ لَّمُحُونَ
Rumi Transliteration
Wa laqad khalaqnā mā baynakum min shay’in lamuḥūn
And We have created whatever is between you of things to test you [as to] which of you is best in deed.
41
Arabic
فَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَبِالْمِرْصَادِ
Rumi Transliteration
Fa-inna rabbaka labi l-mirṣād
And indeed, your Lord is, over all things, Guardian.
42
Arabic
أَمْ لَمْ يَرَوْا إِلَى الطَّيْرِ فَوْقَهُمْ صَافَّاتٍ وَيَقْبِضْنَ ۚ مَا يُمْسِكُهُنَّ إِلَّا الرَّحْمَٰنُ ۚ إِنَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ بَصِيرٌ
Rumi Transliteration
Am lam yaraw ilā l-ṭayri fawqahum ṣāffātin wayaqbiḍna mā yumsikuhunna illā r-raḥmān; innahu bikulli shay’in baṣīr
Do they not see the birds above them with wings outspread and [sometimes] folded in? None holds them [aloft] except the Most Merciful. Indeed He is, of all things, Seeing.
43
Arabic
مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يُشْرِكُ بِهِ بِاللهِ شَيْئًا ۖ فَإِنِ اشْتَمَلَتْ لَهُ آيَةٌ ۚ إِنَّآ أَعْتَدْنَا لِلظَّالِمِينَ نَارًا أَحَاطَ بِهِمْ سُرَادِقُهَا ۚ وَإِن يَسْتَغِيثُوا۟ يُغَاثُوا۟ بِمَآءٍ كَالْمُهْلِ يَشْوِى الْوُجُوهَ ۚ بِئْسَ الشَّرَابُ وَسَاءَتْ مُرْتَفَقًا
Rumi Transliteration
Man dha alladhī yushriku bihi billāhi shay’an fa-in ishtamalat lahu āyatan innā aʿtadnā li-ẓẓālimīna nāran aḥāṭa bihim surādiqahā wa in yastaġīthū yughaṯū bimā’in kal-muhl yashwī l-wujūha bi’sa sh-sharābu wa sā’at murtafaqā
Who is it that could be an ally to Allah except the Most Merciful? The disbelievers are not but in delusion.
44
Arabic
إِنَّ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ مَفَازًا
Rumi Transliteration
Inna lil-muttaqīna mafāzā
Indeed, the righteous will be within gardens and pleasure,
45
Arabic
عَلَىٰ سُرُرٍ نَّصْبًا
Rumi Transliteration
ʿalā sururin naṣbā
[Being told], “Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you put forth in the days past.”
46
Arabic
خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا ۚ وَذُو قُرْبَىٰ ۖ وَذُو مَأْوَىٰ ۖ وَذُو مَغْفِرَةٍ مِّنَ اللَّهِ ۗ وَذُو فَضْلٍ ۗ وَسَارِعُوا إِلَىٰ مَغْفِرَةٍ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَجَنَّةٍ عَرْضُهَا السَّمَاوَاتُ وَالْأَرْضُ أُعِدَّتْ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ
Rumi Transliteration
Khālidīna fīhā wa dhu qurbā wa dhu ma’awā wa dhu maghfiratin mina llāhi wa dhu faḍlin wa sāriʿū ilā maghfiratin min rabbikum wa jannatin ʿarḍuhā l-samāwātu wa l-arḍu uʿiddat lil-muttaqīn
[They will be] abiding therein; and [theirs will be] succession among the companions of the first [who attain Paradise] and those of later times who follow them with good conduct. And the angels will say, “This is your Day which you have been promised.”
47
Arabic
إِذَا زُلْزِلَتِ الْأَرْضُ زِلْزَالَهَا
Rumi Transliteration
Ithā zulzilatil-arḍu zilzālahā
When the earth is shaken with its [final] earthquake
48
Arabic
وَأَخْرَجَتِ الْأَرْضُ أَثْقَالَهَا
Rumi Transliteration
Wa akhrajatil-arḍu athqālahā
And the earth discharges its burdens
49
Arabic
وَقَالَ الْإِنسَانُ مَا لَهَا
Rumi Transliteration
Wa qāla l-insānu mā lahā
And man says, “What is [wrong] with it?”
50
Arabic
يَوْمَئِذٍ تُحَدِّثُ أَخْبَارَهَا
Rumi Transliteration
Yawma’idhin tuḥaddithu akhbārahā
That Day, it will report its news
51
Arabic
بِأَنَّ رَبَّكَ أَوْحَىٰ لَهَا
Rumi Transliteration
Bi-anna rabbaka awḥā lahā
Because your Lord has commanded it.
52
Arabic
يَوْمَئِذٍ يَصْدُرُ النَّاسُ أَشْتَاتًا لِيُرَوْا أَعْمَالَهُمْ
Rumi Transliteration
Yawma’idhin yaṣduru l-nāsu ashtātan liyuraw aʿmālahum
And it will be said, “Bring forth those who were arrogant and made [see] their deeds.”
53
Arabic
فَمَنْ يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيْرًا يَرَهُ
Rumi Transliteration
Fa-man yaʿmal mithqāla dharratin khayran yarahū
So whoever does an atom’s weight of good will see it,
54
Arabic
وَمَنْ يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ شَرًّا يَرَهُ
Rumi Transliteration
Wa man yaʿmal mithqāla dharratin sharran yarahū
And whoever does an atom’s weight of evil will see it.
55
Arabic
فَوَيْلٌ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
Rumi Transliteration
Fa-waylun lil-mukadhdhibīn
Then woe to those who were in denial of the truth —
56
Arabic
الَّذِينَ هُمْ فِي خَوْضٍ يَلْعَبُونَ
Rumi Transliteration
Alladhīna hum fī khaūdin yalʿabūn
Who are in extreme error and transgression,
57
Arabic
يَسْتَمِعُونَ لِلتَّطَّلُّعِ ۖ إِذَا هُم بِهِ مُهْتَمُونَ
Rumi Transliteration
Yastamiʿūna litat-talāluʿ; idhā hum bihi muhtamūn
Listening to vain talk, devourers of [what is] falsehood,—
58
Arabic
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ لَا تُفْسِدُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ قَالُوا إِنَّمَا نَحْنُ مُصْلِحُونَ
Rumi Transliteration
Wa idhā qīla lahum lā tuf’sidū fī l-arḍi qālū innamā naḥnu muṣliḥūn
And when it is said to them, “Do not cause corruption on the earth,” they say, “We are but reformers.”
59
Arabic
أَلَا إِنَّهُمْ هُمُ الْمُفْسِدُونَ وَلَٰكِن لَّا يَشْعُرُونَ
Rumi Transliteration
Alā innahum humu l-muf’sidūna wa lākin lā yashʿurūn
Unquestionably, it is they who are the corrupters, but they perceive [it] not.
60
Arabic
أَأَمِنتُم مَّن فِي السَّمَاءِ أَن يَخْسِفَ بِكُمُ الْأَرْضَ فَإِذَا هِيَ تَمُورُ
Rumi Transliteration
A-amintum man fī s-samā’i an yakhṣifa bikumu l-arḍa fa-idhā hiya tamūr
Or have you believed that He who created the earth is not able to cause you to be swallowed up by it and suddenly it will sway?
61
Arabic
وَأَنِ اعْبُدُونِي ۚ هَٰذَا صِرَاطٌ مُّسْتَقِيمٌ
Rumi Transliteration
Wa ani‘budooni hādhā sirātum mustaqeem
And that you worship Me? This is a straight path.
62
Arabic
وَلَقَدْ أَضَلَّ مِنكُمْ جِبِلًّا كَثِيرًا ۖ أَفَلَمْ تَكُونُوا تَعْقِلُونَ
Rumi Transliteration
Walaqad adalla minkum jibillan katheerā; afalam takoonoo ta‘qiloon
And he had already led astray from among you much of creation, so did you not use reason?
63
Arabic
هَٰذِهِ جَهَنَّمُ الَّتِي كُنتُمْ تُوعَدُونَ
Rumi Transliteration
Hādhihi jahannamul latee kuntum too‘adoon
This is the Hell which you were promised.
64
Arabic
اصْلَوْهَا الْيَوْمَ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَكْفُرُونَ
Rumi Transliteration
Islawhā alyawma bimā kuntum takfuroon
Burn therein today for what you used to deny.
65
Arabic
الْيَوْمَ نَخْتِمُ عَلَىٰ أَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَتُكَلِّمُنَا أَيْدِيهِمْ وَتَشْهَدُ أَرْجُلُهُم بِمَا كَانُوا يَكْسِبُونَ
Rumi Transliteration
Al-yawma nakhtimu ‘alā afwāhihim wa tukallimunā aydeehim wa tash-hadu arjuluhum bimā kānoo yaksiboon
Today We will seal over their mouths, and their hands will speak to Us, and their feet will testify about what they used to earn.
66
Arabic
وَلَوْ نَشَاءُ لَطَمَسْنَا عَلَىٰ أَعْيُنِهِمْ فَاسْتَبَقُوا الصِّرَاطَ فَأَنَّىٰ يُبْصِرُونَ
Rumi Transliteration
Walaw nashāu latamasnā ‘alā a‘yuni-him fasta-baqoo sirāta fa-annā yubsiroon
And if We willed, We could have obliterated their eyes, and they would race to the path, but how could they see?
67
Arabic
وَلَوْ نَشَاءُ لَمَسَخْنَاهُمْ عَلَىٰ مَكَانَتِهِمْ فَمَا اسْتَطَاعُوا مُضِيًّا وَلَا يَرْجِعُونَ
Rumi Transliteration
Walaw nashāu lamasakhnāhum ‘alā makānatihim famas-tatā‘oo mudiyyan wa lā yarji‘oon
And if We willed, We could have transformed them in their places so they would not be able to proceed, nor could they return.
68
Arabic
وَمَن نُّعَمِّرْهُ نُنَكِّسْهُ فِي الْخَلْقِ ۖ أَفَلَا يَعْقِلُونَ
Rumi Transliteration
Wa man nu‘ammirhu nunakkis-hu fil khalq; afalā ya‘qiloon
And he to whom We grant long life We reverse in creation; so will they not understand?
69
Arabic
وَمَا عَلَّمْنَاهُ الشِّعْرَ وَمَا يَنبَغِي لَهُ ۚ إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرٌ وَقُرْآنٌ مُّبِينٌ
Rumi Transliteration
Wa mā ‘allamnāhush shi‘ra wa mā yanbaghee lah; in huwa illā dhikruw wa Qur’ānun mubeen
And We did not give him knowledge of poetry, nor is it befitting for him. It is not but a message and a clear Quran.
70
Arabic
لِّيُنذِرَ مَن كَانَ حَيًّا وَيَحِقَّ الْقَوْلُ عَلَى الْكَافِرِينَ
Rumi Transliteration
Liyundhira man kāna hayyan wa yahiqqal qawlu ‘alal kāfireen
To warn whoever is alive and justify the word against the disbelievers.
71
Arabic
أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا أَنَّا خَلَقْنَا لَهُم مِّمَّا عَمِلَتْ أَيْدِينَا أَنْعَامًا فَهُمْ لَهَا مَالِكُونَ
Rumi Transliteration
Awalam yaraw annā khalaqnā lahum mimmā ‘amilat aydeenā an‘āman fahum lahā mālikoon
Do they not see that We created for them from what Our hands have made grazing livestock, and they are their owners?
72
Arabic
وَذَلَّلْنَاهَا لَهُمْ فَمِنْهَا رَكُوبُهُمْ وَمِنْهَا يَأْكُلُونَ
Rumi Transliteration
Wadhallalnāhā lahum faminhā rakoo buhum wa minhaa ya’kuloon
And We have tamed them for them, so some of them they ride, and some of them they eat.
73
Arabic
وَلَهُمْ فِيهَا مَنَافِعُ وَمَشَارِبُ ۖ أَفَلَا يَشْكُرُونَ
Rumi Transliteration
Wa lahum feeha manāfi‘u wa mashārib; afalā yashkuroon
And for them therein are [other] benefits and drinks, so will they not be grateful?
74
Arabic
وَاتَّخَذُوا مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ آلِهَةً لَّعَلَّهُمْ يُنصَرُونَ
Rumi Transliteration
Wattakhazoo min doonillāhi ālihatal la‘allahum yunsaroon
But they have taken besides Allah gods that perhaps they would be helped.
75
Arabic
لَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ نَصْرَهُمْ وَهُمْ لَهُمْ جُندٌ مُّحْضَرُونَ
Rumi Transliteration
Lā yastatee‘oona nasrahum wa hum lahum jundum muhdaroon

فَلَا يَحْزُنكَ قَوْلُهُمْ ۘ إِنَّا نَعْلَمُ مَا يُسِرُّونَ وَمَا يُعْلِنُونَ
Rumi Transliteration
Falā yahzunka qawluhum innā na‘lamu mā yusirroona wa mā yu‘linoon
So let not their speech grieve you. Indeed, We know what they conceal and what they declare.

أَوَلَمْ يَرَ الْإِنسَانُ أَنَّا خَلَقْنَاهُ مِن نُّطْفَةٍ فَإِذَا هُوَ خَصِيمٌ مُّبِينٌ

Awalam yaral insānu annā khalaqnāhu min nutfatin fa-idhā huwa khaseemun mubeen
Does man not consider that We created him from a mere sperm-drop — then at once he is a clear adversary?

وَضَرَبَ لَنَا مَثَلًا وَنَسِيَ خَلْقَهُ ۖ قَالَ مَن يُحْيِي الْعِظَامَ وَهِيَ رَمِيمٌ
Rumi Transliteration
Wadaraba lanā mathalanw wa nasiya khalqah; qāla mai yuhyil ‘idhāma wa hiya rameem
And he presents for Us an example and forgets his [own] creation. He says, “Who will give life to bones while they are disintegrated?”

قُلْ يُحْيِيهَا الَّذِي أَنشَأَهَا أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ ۖ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ خَلْقٍ عَلِيمٌ

Qul yuhyeehal lazee anshaahā awwala marrah; wa huwa bikulli khalqin ‘aleem
Say, “He will give them life who produced them the first time; and He is, of all creation, Knowing.”

الَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنَ الشَّجَرِ الْأَخْضَرِ نَارًا فَإِذَا أَنتُم مِّنْهُ تُوقِدُونَ

Allazee ja‘ala lakum minash shajaril akhdari nāran fa-idhā antum minhu tooqidoon
[It is He] who made for you from the green tree, fire, and then from it you ignite.

Awalaisa allazee khalaqas samaawāti wal-arda biqādirin ‘alā any-yakhluqa mithlahum; balā wa huwa al-khallāqul ‘aleem
Is not He who created the heavens and the earth Able to create the likes of them? Yes, [it is so]; and He is the Knowing Creator.
